Another year and all I can think about is how I have done good things but one part of my life is still lacking. I still haven’t gotten laid, it has been 3 years and the way this year may go four. My New Years resolution is to get laid. I wouldn’t mind getting into a relationship but that doesn’t happen to me either.

Big Gulp

I don’t think I ever stopped drinking but for awhile I wouldn’t do it then go on stage. This year I have started drinking and getting up to perform, I am not sure why. Maybe I am trying to block myself from the realities of comedy, the absurdity of it all. The fact that it is all just bullshit and that I am not doing anything that important. I said at one point that I would become a doctor, that never worked out because it would take to many years of school. I have been doing comedy now for six years. I am no where near becoming a professional comedian. I should have been a doctor it would have been quicker and more respected. I work just to get by and that is what I do, but at least I am doing something creative, most people get to the end of their lives and wished they had wrote that book, done a play, acted, or sang. I have done what most people dreamed they could do. All I have to do is put up with the stupidity of it all till I get where I would like to be.

Things have been going well and sometimes not so well, but overall I am thankful. I have good friends and I am starting to make headway in this comedy game. It has taken a few years but I am coming up much faster than when I started. I am thankful for all my friends and the people that have made it a fun experience. I expect bigger things to happen next year and I think this comedy thing will become my job soon. My ultimate goal is to get a stand-up TV show where I can showcase the comedians I enjoy, kind of like what Rodney Dangerfield did. I feel most of the comedians that get on TV today are all the same. I want to see some different types of comedians, maybe that would help bring stand-up comedy back into the mainstream again.
